This Privacy Policy describes how JOEREA ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit or make a purchase on https://joerea.store.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

Name, email address, and phone number (optional)
Shipping and billing address, used to fulfill and ship your order
Account password (stored securely, never in plain text) — not applicable if you sign in with Google, in which case we never see or store a password at all

Information collected automatically:

IP address — used briefly to guess a sensible default currency to show you (USD, NGN, GBP, or EUR); you can always override this yourself using the currency selector
Order history, cart contents, and basic browsing activity on our site
A session cookie (to keep you signed in and remember your cart) and a currency preference cookie (kept for up to a year)

Payment information:

We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed entirely by our payment processor, Flutterwave — see Section 4 below.

To process and fulfill your orders, including sending them to our print-on-demand fulfillment partner
To process payments and send order confirmations, shipping updates, and receipts
To let you sign in and manage your account and order history
To respond to customer support requests
To show you prices converted into your preferred currency

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, securely hashed passwords, and access controls on our admin systems. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.

4. Sharing Data With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We do share the minimum information necessary with the following third parties, solely to operate our store:

Printful (our print-on-demand fulfillment partner) — receives your name, shipping address, and order details so they can print and ship your order directly to you
Flutterwave (our payment processor) — receives your billing details and payment information to process your transaction; we only receive back the transaction result, amount, and currency, never your full card details
Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, in which case Google shares your name and email address with us per your consent on Google's sign-in screen
Our email and hosting providers, solely to deliver order confirmation emails and operate the website

We may also disclose information where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of JOEREA, our customers, or others.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies: one to keep you signed in and remember your cart, and one to remember your selected currency. We don't use these cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with our legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at contact@joerea.store. Depending on where you're located, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law (for example, the Nigeria Data Protection Act for Nigerian residents, or the GDPR for residents of the European Union).

8. Children's Privacy

Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
